But Kim Kardashian and her sister Kourtney have somewhat different body types, so an identical outfit doesn't always have the same effect.
Kim, 32, was snapped on Wednesday struggling to contain her ample curves in a low-cut maxi dress, while Kourtney, 33, looked decidedly more elegant in the exact same frock while pregnant with her second child Penelope in 2012.

The reality star, who was eight months' pregnant at the time, looked slender and sophisticated in the frock, which fit her perfectly.
Fast forward nine months, and Kim emerged wearing the same dress when she made a stop for frozen yoghurt in Los Angeles.
But
the outfit appeared to be too small for the curvy star, who looked in
danger of revealing more than she bargained for as she chatted with
friends at the Sweet Harts frozen yoghurt store.
The pair appear to also have been sharing some beauty tips as they both teamed the frock with sandals and wore their dark hair in loose waves over their shoulders.
Kim recently took to her blog to respond to criticism of her maternity style.
'I saw some comments that were so critical!' she wrote. 'It’s funny because Kourtney warned me that when I get pregnant people’s opinions will be on an all time high and everyone will chime in. So I now see what she means.'
She added: 'I saw some
comments that the skirt is too tight for the pregnancy and that’s
ridiculous! I bought this skirt a few sizes bigger and there is plenty
of room.'
'For any concern that my clothes are too tight, I have so many pieces custom fit for my growing body!' she said.
'They make pregnancy Spanx which are tight. So this theory sounds ridiculous! I feel my best when I am in heels and chic clothes! Happy mommy, happy baby!'
